The measurables coaches look at first, by sport
Every sport has two or three numbers a coach reads before anything else. Post those, and get one of them verified.
Why verified matters
A 40 time typed by a parent is a claim. A 40 time confirmed by a coach on this platform is a data point. Coaches know the difference, and the verified mark is the first thing a serious evaluator looks for. Ask your high school coach or a trainer with an account to verify one number this season.
Football
Height, weight, 40 yard dash, and for linemen the bench and squat. Speed sells skill positions. Size and strength sell the trenches. Position specific film matters more than any number after that.
Basketball
Height, wingspan, vertical, and a real per game line. Coaches also want to see a full game, not a dunk reel.
Baseball and softball
Exit velocity, throwing velocity (by position), 60 yard dash, and pitching velocity with a radar reading. These are measured at showcases and the numbers travel. Post the event where they were recorded.
Track and field
Your PRs are the whole story. Post them by season so the drop shows. A verified meet result is the strongest number in any sport.
Soccer, volleyball, lacrosse
Height, vertical and speed matter, but film and club level matter more. Post which club and league you play in each season.
Wrestling
Weight class, record, pins, state placement. Consistency across seasons is the number.
Cheer and dance
Top tumbling pass, stunt position, competition placements, and film of full routines. College programs recruit off this exactly like a sport, because it is one.
Be honest
Round a 40 down by a tenth and a coach finds out at the first camp. Post the real number, post the date, and post the next one when it improves. The growth is the point.
