We are not a compliance product and we will not pretend to be one. Your calendar and your association's rules are yours. What we do is keep a clean record, so nothing here is ever a question mark in a file review.
Reading a page is not contact
An athlete page is a public web page, the same as a roster page or a news article. Searching the board and watching film is not a communication with a prospect under any association's rules, because nobody is contacted.
The family opens the door, not you
Private contact information sits behind a separate wall the family holds. A coach requests it, the family approves or denies it, and for any athlete under 18 the parent is the one who answers.
Every grant is dated
When a family opens their private sheet to you, that grant is timestamped, and so is every time it is opened. If anybody ever asks when access started, the answer exists.
Your own contact log, exportable
Your board records when you last contacted each recruit and when you plan to follow up. Export the whole thing to a spreadsheet and hand it to compliance without asking us for anything.
Dead honest: we do not know your sport's contact periods and we do not enforce them. Nothing on this site will stop you from sending a message in a quiet period. That is your job and your compliance officer's job. Ours is to make sure the record of what happened is complete and dated.
Unverified accounts do not get search.
Anybody can sign up. Nobody gets the search tool until they are verified. An unverified account can open a public athlete page the same way any visitor can, and that is all. No filters, no lists, no watchlist, no exports.
The private contact sheet is a separate wall again. That is held by the family, and for any athlete under 18 the parent approves every single request to open it, verified coach or not.
