A recruiting page only works if it can be seen. That does not mean handing a stranger your child's phone number. Here is exactly where the line sits and who gets to cross it.
A parent owns the account under 13
For any athlete under 13 the account belongs to the parent. The parent signs up, the parent holds the login, and the parent is the one we talk to. The kid can be on the page. The kid is not the account holder.
The parent holds the private layer under 18
Cell number, personal email, parent contact and transcript live on a private sheet that is never part of the public page. For anyone under 18 the parent holds that sheet and approves every single request to open it. Access can be pulled back at any time.
Verified coaches only for search
An unverified account cannot search the board at all. Verification needs a school or district email, or a manual review of a school ID or a staff page link that a person actually reads.
What is public, and what never is
The public page is built to be shared. It carries the story a coach needs and nothing a stranger could use.

There is no setting that puts these on the public page. Not a toggle, not an upgrade, not a special case. They live on the private sheet or they do not exist here.
A parent is on every message.
When anyone messages an athlete under 18, the parent on the account is copied on it. Every time. There is no private channel between an adult and a minor on this platform, and there is no way to turn that off.
The same holds for Brand Offers. An offer to a minor goes to the parent inbox first, and the athlete only sees it after the parent approves it.
Anybody the family has let in can also be shut out again in one tap. Pulling access closes the private sheet and ends the thread.
Report it. Here is what happens.
A wrong photo, a message that feels off, a page that is not who it says it is, an offer that smells bad. Report it and it gets handled first.

There is one on every athlete page, every message and every Brand Offer. You do not need an account to use it and you can leave your name off.
We look the same day
Safety reports jump the line ahead of everything else in the inbox. A person reads it. It does not sit in a queue waiting on a score.
We act while we look
If a message or an offer looks wrong, the sender is cut off from messaging first and we sort out the details after. We would rather pause a good account for a day than leave a bad one running.
You hear back
If you left contact info we tell you what happened. If it is something for law enforcement, we say so and we help.
